Found Movement Group is a diverse ensemble of movers integrated to form a creative whole. Established in 2006 to fill the absence of hardhitting dance in Nashville, the company establishes an open community by addressing real life issues through the lens of dance and movement theatre. With past works exploring topics that vary from sexual liberation to human trafficking to women’s rights, the company exposes Nashville to choreography that maintains responsibility to social consciousness.

As director, Stacie M. Flood-Popp creates athletic movement which is an amalgamation of all genres. With a background in visual art, Flood-Popp’s work is both profound and visually stimulating. She makes use of nontraditional performance settings, innovative lighting design and intricate costumes to allow audiences to enter a different world. The worlds she creates are further enriched by acrobatic choreography and physical acting.
